NAOMI & BINH

Like many post-pandemic love stories, we met on a dating app in August 2021. Despite Naomi’s Hinge prompt confessing that she preferred soggy fries over crispy fries, which led to a number of accusations that she “might be a serial killer”, Binh swiped right. Naomi was a little apprehensive that Binh might be too much of a camping enthusiastic (three out of six of his photos were of him camping), but decided to swipe right as well. 

 

Our first date was full of good omens; besides getting on swimmingly, we discovered that we had a lot in common, from our love of food and cooking, to the fact that both our sisters are named Hollie/Hoaly and are married to men with Scottish blood. We even received an unsolicited compliment from a stranger that we make a cute couple on our first date. At the end of the night, we couldn’t help feeling that this was the start of something special. 

 

Thankfully, our instincts were right. Since that first date, we’ve gone from strength to strength as a couple, and our love and respect for each other grows each day. We’ve spent countless fun Friday nights together, traveled the world, adopted our beloved dog Murray, and started a new adventure together in the Northeast. We are filled with love and gratitude for all our family and friends for being part of our journey. We can’t wait to celebrate the start of this new chapter with all of you, in this new city we call home.
